When You Need To Move Mountains

Sheltra & Sons Contracting is a phone call away! Construction can’t begin on a brush-covered, debris-ridden hill without some serious prep. Whatever your project is, from houses to airplane hangars to golf courses, we’ll ensure the base is flat, solid, and ready to build upon.

Digging into the earth is simple in concept but complex in execution. We need to survey the land that needs excavation first to ensure we’re not disturbing anything like power lines or existing drains and pipes. But once we know the land, we can get ready to dig. Whatever your excavation is preparing for, we can take care of it:

Years Experience

Whether we’re clearing obstacles put up by mother nature or previous contractors, we’ll get it out of the way. You can also expect Sheltra & Sons to work with precision. If you need to lay pipes a foot wide and a mile long, we’ll make it happen. If you’re laying down driveways, sidewalks, or anything that needs a clear path, it’ll be expertly handled by us.

Licensed & Insured

We are fully licensed and insured and work with local utilities and government to ensure full compliance regarding our work. If you have an architect or other professionals involved in your project, we’ll partner up with them to make sure every detail is handled to your satisfaction.

All of the zoning and permitting will be properly handled, too. We don’t work “under the table” or try to get away with anything. All of our work is above board and done in full compliance with zoning and other regulations.

Also, if you want to work with the land, we can help with that! Some people want their properties to blend into nature rather than excavating and grading a slope or hill to be perfectly flat. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to run pipes, electrical lines, and other needs with minimal disturbance. If you want to have a house among the trees and want the forest to be as untouched as possible, we’ll work with a delicate touch.

Experienced Florida Excavation Contractors

You need a contractor who knows Florida soil. The ground consistency varies hugely depending on how close you are to the coast, and while some places can support an underground bunker, others will flood if you dig more than five feet down. Sheltra & Sons knows how to handle anything Florida’s ground can throw our way so you can build with peace of mind.
